TL:DR - Digital File Links
Hey everyone,
There is nothing much to report for this month's update as we wait for the manufacturers to start up again. I had heard from some backers, and there was some confusion about the digital PnP files. I will send out a Backers Online update after this one with links the rewards so that you don't need to dig through the older updates to find them. It was pointed out that there was an issue with the VTT files which I will have corrected soon. In the meantime all of the item card files, specialty cards, and GM tools are complete and ready to be used in your games =)

TL:DR - Timeline Update, OGL Concerns, Free Campaign
Hey everyone,
I wanted to provide an update on the production of the physical rewards, and talk about some issues stemming from changes that are happening with regards to D&D's licensing.
Our manufacturer is going to be celebrating Chinese New Year, and as a result will be on hiatus for the month of February. That means that next month's update will be a little sparse, but once everything has started back up again I should have some pictures of the physical reward to show off. My hope is that if everything goes smoothly that we can start fulfilling towards the end of the summer. Regardless I will make sure keep everyone updated on the progress as we go along.
I'm sure many of you have been following along with the news about changes that Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast have been making to the Open Gaming License (OGL). The OGL is a license that allows anyone to use certain elements of WotC's intellectual property to create their own content. It is a one page document, which is followed by the Systems Reference Document (SRD) a condensed version of the 3 core rulebooks that creators can use. It is the reason why there are so many great 3rd party resources, and why projects like this one can exist. You will notice a copy of the license at the end of each of the PnP files that have been uploaded. The new license that is currently being introduced is problematic for a number of reasons, and I've linked to a Gizmodo article for anyone interested in reading more:

Wizards of the Toast
The right to make toast has been revoked. Bakers' lives are being ruined. The Wizards of the Toast and their evil, corporate overlord, Hasbrodeus, have reneged on a decades-old promise to not revoke the very license that made toast so fantastic. Wrongly believing the success of toast is theirs alone, WotT aim to force the draconian requirements of their new license on bakers the world over using tricky legal documentation and bread-based golems. The ability to produce water will be very useful in helping make bread soggy in this adventure.

All of the Print and Play files have now been uploaded! For fun, here is one of our items that hasn't been shown before - in the comments come up with a homebrew for what it might be =)

TL:DR - progress update, next steps, specialty cards for everyone
Hey everyone,
In an earlier update I mentioned that I was sending digital proofs to the manufacturer to ensure that everything was formatted correctly, and they have reported that everything looks good. The final pieces of art should be coming in soon, so instead of uploading the Utility PnP files tentatively with place holders for some of the items it will be added once all the art has been completed.
Now that things are all coming together, below is a breakdown of the next steps. I have also added links to the PnP files for the Specialty cards so that all backers can enjoy them during their upcoming games. Some of our backers without access to the digital rewards have not been able to see some of the progress, and I want to make sure that everyone is included in our project.
These cards will be included in the physical copy of the project but being able to print out extras is always nice (especially for the Murder Hobo and Perma Death cards depending on your group).
Once all of the art has been completed, all of the digital files will be transferred to the manufacturers. They will create a prototype that will be sent to me to review for quality, and once approved they will go into mass production.
