TL:DR - Releasing some digital assets this month, new stuff from Loot Tavern and Fluffy Folio

Hello everyone,

This month's update is pretty short, work is still being done on the cards. That being said the VTT files,  and specialty cards will be sent to backers this month. Links will be sent through Backer Only updates as well as through Backerkit, similar to the map files last month. 

I want to briefly take a moment to talk about how amazing the artists for this project are. Loot Tavern, who is doing all of the core cards, noted that we had 89 unique items and thought 90 would be a much better number. That is all to say we are adding a new item. The Fir Coat - which grants you Barkskin when activated but drops your speed as you are rooted in place. 

As for Fluffy Folio, he has added a Hero figure which is featured on the back of the Coward card so that you can award it to players that are exceptionally brave or conversely yellow bellied.

TL:DR - Print and Play coming soon, a look at the cards,  Adventure Party tier reminder

Hello everyone, 

The print and play digital rewards will be ready soon and will be sent to backers though a backers only update, as well as through Backerkit. To test out digital distribution through Backerkit I am going to send the digital maps from update 28/29 to make sure the process works well. Below is a showcase of the majority of the art, and a special update on the Murder Hobo card.

Cards

You are all familiar with the Murder Hobo card (update 23) which is meant to be given to players that showcase a certain predilection for violence. I thought it would be fun to add a "loyalty punch card" to the back which lists both friends and foes that fall by your players hands. Check them out below.

Adventure Party Tier

All the backers in this tier will have their name featured in the project, this information is being collected as part of the survey that was sent out. If you have not had a chance to complete the survey please do so as soon as possible. If there are any issues you can also send me a message anytime.

Hey everyone, 

All the Backerkit surveys are going out shortly after this update, so keep an eye on your inboxes. Originally a small number of backers were sent their survey in a "Smoke Test" to make sure there weren't any issues, and now I'm happy to open it up to everyone.

February Update

TL:DR - Surveys starting, project progressing well, item spotlight

Hello everyone,

Surveys are starting to be sent out! 

Surveys

We are beginning with a small group of backers, a random 5% of you will receive a Backerkit survey, to make sure that there are no issues. After that, they will be rolled out to everyone. Another update will be sent once all of the surveys have gone out. 

Project Progress

The artwork is 90% complete, including the symbols that will be used as quick reference on the top of the cards. The copy text for the cards are also being edited and reviewed. Our manufacturer had been closed for Chinese New Year but reached out to let me know that they are starting to return to regular operations. 

Item Spotlight

Healing Crystal - Allows you to heal from a wound but ages your character the length of time it would have taken to heal naturally. Hair and nails grow out to reflect this time.

Tinfoil Hat - Protects you from psychic damage, at the cost of some intelligence points.
