Hey everyone,
Today is our final day! Over the last few days we've been able to unlock quite a few stretch goals, and are getting closer to unlocking our D20 goal for a custom map. If you have any friends that you think would be interested in the project feel free to share because we don't want anyone to miss out.
Thank you for all of your support so far, lets see if we can close out the last remaining stretch goal.

I want to thank all 686 of you backers for your support. Together we unlocked 20 stretch goals and added an additional 40 unique cards to the project. As a first time creator this project went beyond my wildest dreams and it is all thanks to you! I truly hope you enjoy using the items and tools I created, and am excited that a small part of me gets to go along on the adventures you run or play with your friends ◉◡◉
I've broken the rest of the email down in headings to make it easier to read or skip over. Oh and If you had any friends that may have missed out on the project a late pledge option will be setup soon.
Kickstarter will begin to collect pledge funds which takes about two weeks, and during that time I will be working on preparing the pledge manager. Over the next several months our talented artists will be completing the additional illustrations. I will be working with the manufacture, shipping company, and warehouses to make sure that we are in good order.
Whenever I send out an important update I will also include the term "Agelast" so that you can quickly search your inboxes using it as a keyword. I have it listed in the page's FAQ so you don't have to remember it.

Let me know what items you'd like to have in the deck - the unlocked stretch goal cards are being pulled by suggestions you made or voted for in the polls below. The polls will stay open for a couple of weeks so that everyone who wants can get a chance to contribute and we can build the project together. Check out some of our previous updates to see which ones have already been selected.

I was running a session with my friends that took place in a mage's tower and I thought I'd leave some discarded items around to make it feel more lived in. I thought these could be items that didn't work well incase my players decided that what they found in the trash might be useful to them, but when I went looking for examples of broken items online all I found was overpowered "broken" items.
What if there were magic items that malfunctioned and were still valuable to use but required players to think more creatively about what they would do with it. That was the inspiration for this project. Introducing chaos into the game, letting players earn magic items that wouldn't unbalance encounters, and most importantly punish players that DO NOT INVESTIGATE THEIR ITEMS!
For fun malicious items were introduced to see how far a player would go to make full use of them. The thought of a paladin using the Gnoll Gloves, which provide a crit nullifier but requires killing an innocent, is one of my favourites.
A highlight for me during the campaign was reading all the lovely messages from backers letting me know they were excited about the project and using these items in their games.

Hey everyone,
We just unlocked another set of Utility and Consumable items, which brings our total of unique cards up to 89! Here are some of the suggestions you made that will be included in the project. Djinn Bottle (Rovi) - When you rub the bottle a drunk genie comes out but will either be happy, angry, sleepy or sad and act accordingly when summoned
Knucklebones of Anguish (J) - These knucklebones cast Augury once per long rest, however due to being harvested from a murdered child, your HP total reduces each time you use them by your level number. Additionally the child's spirit haunts your dreams. Once attuned, can only be removed by restoration spell
Moon Chalk (Wayne) - A good sized piece of chalk that when used is only visible in moonlight. Great for leaving a path, or or secret clues. Last for one night, but only when the actual piece of chalk is in moonlight too. Until then it is invisible.
Glass bottle filled with ball bearings and incendiary powder
This bomb explodes immediately once the cork is depressed and cannot be triggered by magical means. Would a player use the bombs hoping that they have a stronger constitution than swarming enemies in the the blast radius? Or perhaps plan to hand it off to an unsuspecting NPC with instructions to make sure the cork is packed tight before placing it as a "trap"?

We've unlocked even more item cards, and if that wasn't exciting enough we are adding the incredible talents of Fluffy Folio to the project. He will be contributing some artwork to special cards in the deck including the Perma Death cards (6 unlocked in each deck), and Murder Hobo cards (upcoming stretch goal).
